Graceland Hotel Casino and Country Club together with the Southern Highveld Community Development trust (SHCDT) has donated R1.5million to build a school hall at the KI Twala Secondary School in eMbalenhle.

The building will be constructed by SSZ Civils & Allied with groundwork preparations commencing on the 4 July 2017. Faculty and students are very excited about the project as the hall will be used to write exams, to accommodate large classes and school events.

The hall will also benefit the eMbalenhle Community as a whole as it will be hired out to churches and for community events. Income generated from the venue will be used to further upgrade the school facilities, including a science lab and computer room. Graceland also donated 20 TV’s to the school.
